People are just People,
they shouldn't make you Nervous.
People are just people like you.
I often wonder why some people are
Do you ever watch people who
absolutely Shrink in the presence
of their boss or of a teacher/professor?
Or who have this dying desire to please
those who they work for/with?
There is a difference between wanting
to do your job well,
and being Terrified that your
boss will jump down your back...
but even if he/she IS an ass like that...
why would you work for that?
Everyone out there has his/her own life, too.
When we go to class, we see our teachers and think
of their lives as merely teachers.
Do you ever wonder
"what's vacation like with this person's family?"
"Where do they hold Thanksgiving?"
Because believe it or not...
they have a life, too.
Same with 'famous' people
Now, I'm know, as a famous person,
it Can be tough and sometimes it can
seem like everyone 'knows' you,
but they really don't Know you...
But why do we reamain SO amazed
by famous people???
I mean REALLY......they're JUST people.
Not to minimize accomplishments of some,
but Why on earth do we beg athletes
for their autograph?
Or when people see a movie star of sorts
on the street, they goo and gah and
get out their cameras.
They have their histories,
their pains and laughs,
dorkiness, and charm
the same as all of us.
Some claim that "but oooh she's so beautiful!"
Isn't it 10x more beautiful when a person
takes the time to get to know You
and takes pride in being herself? In being Average?
Maybe next time you see a random
person who looks like they could use
a cheering up, you should
remind her how great she is...
tell that person how much you look up to her
Same with a teacher
or a boss/supervisor
even your everyday friend...
Could you imagine what it would
be like if we spent as much time and energy
on poverty and civil rights, and respect
as we do on publicizing or whining about
people who get more attention than us?
People are just people, they shouldn't make you nervous.
""Well maybe you should just drink a lot less coffee,
And never ever watch the ten o'clock news,
Maybe you should kiss someone nice,
Or lick a rock,
"Maybe you should cut your own hair
'Cause that can be so funny
It doesn't cost any money
And it always grows back
Hair grows even after you're dead""
